Our little Tallie has put on some weight. She's adding a roll a day to her appendages. Apparently ranch dressing is better if you put your face directly in it. Our neighbor Donna caught Tallie in a good mood for a few minutes.
When Tallie was born, Nana Beth came over and stayed for a week to help out. While she was here, she planted a great flower garden in our leaning-tower-of-Pisa planter. And 8 weeks later, this is what her work looks like. Thanks Nana!
We've been looking online for dense play pads that we could use under our little playground so we don't have to keep dragging it on and off the yard every day or two. Turns out Sam's Club had them in stock (and cheaper, of course) so we pulled the trigger. Piper seems to like it. Tallie not so much. Six Flags it is not, but when you live out here in rural America you have to learn to make do!
We turned the Pistol loose in the backyard after we finished watering and shockingly she found some mud and proceeded to eat it...as an appetizer, it turned out, for her next course of watermelon.
