Cabin trip
So we finally broke away for a little while to the in-law's cabin up above Cimarron, CO. John stayed the weekends and Linde kept the girls up here the whole time and had a great week. The following three posts are the pics we got during our stay up here. As always, just click on a pic if you want a larger version. Enjoy.
In the woods, kids need a stick.
The old cliche photo of parents with babies in tow on the family 4-wheeler.
Lake San Cristobal (the 2nd largest natural lake in Colorado) with the babies. This is just above Lake City and the starting point for the alpine loop land cruiser trail that we took last fall.
Chewing on rocks in the foreground with the San Juan mountain range in the background.
Throwing rocks in the stream is apparently easier without the inhibition pants provide.

Cabin, Part II
So we finally caught Tallie on camera doing what Linde calls her "mama kitty"--toting her burp cloth around in her mouth for extended periods of time.
She's not letting go.
Inventory of rocks, sticks, and pine cones.
Examing their nature loot.
Somehow Piper agreed to stay still long enough for mama to put french braids in her hair.
They came out about 10 seconds after this was taken.
Wrestling, per usual.
Arts and crafts time.
Shaka Zulu necklace.
