Piper has always been a pretty attentive baby, but lately she can't seem to get enough people (and stuff) watching. She seems to be very interested in the world around her.

Learning to Smile
Our little Piper woke up on the right side of the crib this morning. She was so smiley we just had to capture this for you all. Her first recognizable smile was several weeks ago, but she's starting to learn to smile when she's happy. Pretty cool.

Just recently Piper has begun to enjoy using her tongue. Cool new toy, huh?
She's also begun sucking on her middle fingers, just like her mama did as a baby.
She seems to be interested by the lights on the camera.
And she was being a little more cuddly than usual last night, not minding a cheek-to-cheek pose with daddy.
