Welcome to the World!Baby Jack arrived Monday, June 24 at 4:49 pm. He weighed 9 lbs 5.7 oz and measured 22.5 inches long. I was induced, because as many of you already know, my babies love the womb. I haven't ever gone into natural labor. After breaking my water and then 6 hours later, putting me on a pitocin drip, I was able to deliver him naturally (no drugas). The experience was amazing and "intense" as JM puts it. His shoulders got a little stuck because he's such a giant.
Nana Bethie and I both think he looks just like his daddy and cousin Finn. He has dark, cloudy eyes and auburn hair. He snores and grunts in his sleep and is finally getting the hang of nursing.
Psalm 107:1
"Give thanks to The Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever."

Tallie and Jane's Peter Pan Party, Part II
Tallie and Piper wanted to be nice mermaids, unlike the mermaids in Peter Pan.
Tallie and her favorite Lost Boy, Oliver.
Sword fighting at Skull Rock.
Walk the Plank, if you dare.
Happy 5th birthday, Jane and Tallie! Personal croc cakes for the girls. For the guests....
...their very own edible Treasure Chests.

We ended up hosting 102 people, a little over 50 kiddos, in our backyard. The party was so fun and the workload made light with all the helping hands. A memorable last HOO-RAH in our backyard before we make the leap to the 'house on the hill.'
Tallie and Jane's Peter Pan Party
Say nothing of this gathering,
Lest Hook should overhear.
If he shows up, he'll ruin, no doubt,
The grandest party of the year!
We turned our backyard into Neverland with a little magic from Beach Nana and the Lentz's.
The girls getting their faces painted at the Indian Camp before the party kicked off.

Summertime
Cooling off with watermelon and the kiddie pool. Summertime is officially upon us. Next on our list: have our baby boy, move to the new house. No big deal.
