Piper went scalloping with Nana off the bay yesterday fully equipped with her snorkel and mask. (She's giving me a tutorial on the left.) Nana testified that Piper even breathed with the snorkel under water!! You go girl! Even though they didn't have any luck finding scallops, Piper scored with a treasure-trove of hermit crabs and one armored looking crab. After thoroughly harassing these brave little crabs, we reluctantly decided to let them live and release them back into the crashing waves near the beach house. Monday, June 21, 2010
